In everything we do, we are doctors first. Each person on our team qualified from medical school and amassed their experience in the GP surgery. Every opinion you hear is an expert one, and every cosmetic procedure is completed by a fully qualified doctor.

The Clinics GP team are a well-established part of the Market Lavington Community and have been practicing in the area for many years.
The Doctors have a wealth of experience in minor surgery and in radio surgery - a specialised technique which minimises scarring and uses a ground-breaking method of lesion removal utilising radio frequency waves which involves very precise and superficial removal of your unwanted lesions - a bit like rubbing out a pencil mark!
With minimal scarring and fast healing many lesions can be quickly and completely removed, leaving you feeling reassured and more confident.

Dr Anne-Marie WilcoxBSc, MBChB, JCPTGP, MRCGP
A partner at Market Lavington Surgery, Dr Wilcox trained with some of the leading specialists in radiosurgery and aesthetic therapies, and has gained much experience in the field over her nearly 20 years as a GP.
Anne-Marie maintains a strong philosophy in the link between appearance and wellbeing. She says, “If we are not feeling happy with our appearance, our self-belief is diminished. Confidence is key to how we approach the world.”
Outside of work Anne-Marie is a keen volunteer with medical services at festivals such as Glastonbury and Reading. She likes to run, eat and walk the dog - not necessarily in that order!
Dr Robin LathamMA, MBChB, MRCGP, PGCE
The newest member of the partnership team, Dr Latham worked in the engineering, business and education sector before starting his medical career.
Robin now draws on this breadth of experience to strengthen the business and technical aspects of The Clinic.
His passion for engineering still runs strong, together with his love of the great outdoors, and in his spare time he can be seen taking his campervan out for road trips.
Dermal fillers
At The Clinic we only use the highest quality fillers which are based on hyaluronic acid - a substance which naturally occurs in the skin to provide support and structure. As we age the level of hyaluronic acid decreases and the skin becomes less elastic and loses volume. Dermal filler adds volume, softens lines and replaces the structure of the skin. Our products also include pain reducing lidocaine which is a local anaesthetic and ensures a more comfortable experience.
Botox
This is the most popular aesthetic treatment in the western world. At The Clinic we use type A botulinum toxin which, when injected into a muscle causes localised paralysis. An extremely fine needle is used and positioned in specific locations after a bespoke and holistic assessment of the client to decrease the movement of dynamic expression lines giving a fresher and smoother appearance. The main regions which benefit from this treatment are the frown lines, the horizontal forehead lines and the lines around the eyes "crows feet". Botox typically starts working 1-3 days post treatment and has achieved its full effect by 2 weeks. It usually lasts 3-4 months and clients love it!
Radiosurgery
This is a specialised surgical technique which uses high frequency radio waves. They penetrate the skin at a very superficial level which ensures greater precision, minimal damage to surrounding tissues and therefore greatly reduced scarring. Radiosurgery can be used to remove moles, warts, skin tags and various lumps and bumps, it gives superior cosmetic results compared with conventional surgical excision.
